The Low Trainer will look familiar to many, being based off the classic Chuck Taylor. The Moonstar version however stands above as far as quality of materials and construction. The upper is woven from a heavy natural canvas with cotton mesh trim. The sole - like all Moonstar footwear - is a full vulcanized construction, making it far more durable.

Moonstar has been producing high quality sneakers in Karume, Japan since 1873. They specialize in durable, high quality canvas footwear. Much of Moonstar's footwear has vulcanized construction, a process where the canvas and rubber are fused at a very high temperature and pressure. This results in a very high quality, long lasting product.
